Doctors - Dr. Diane H. Gallivan

Dr. Gallivan obtained her B.S. in Chemistry and Biology from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls in 1991; she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 1995.  Her professional interests include Emergency Medicine, Pediatric Medicine, and Soft Tissue Surgery. She is originally from New England, but was transplanted to Texas at the age of 6, so is pretty much a Texan at this point. She currently has 5 cats (all of which are rescues from the hospital), 7 dogs (5 of which are less than 10 pounds), 3 backyard chickens (they prefer the term "free range"), and a couple of fish tanks. She enjoys cooking for friends, reading novels, and working in her yard. Dr. Gallivan has been an essential part of the team of doctors at I-20 Animal Medical Center since 1996. During this time she has enjoyed caring for many pets and their humans. She is an excellent surgeon and has an incredible bedside manner, sharing her compassion and understanding with many clients who have chosen her as their personal family veterinarian. While she has built many long lasting and caring relationships, she continues to demonstrate her remarkable emergency medicine skills. Dr. Gallivan is greatly appreciated and loved by her family of coworkers, patients and clients at I-20 Animal Medical Center.
