Doctors - Dr. Bryan Tims

Dr. Tims was born in Fort Worth in 1971 and is proud to announce that both parents are native Texans. In fact, Mom and Dad went to TCU; his father is an accountant and mom is a commercial artist. His brother and sister also reside in the metroplex.

Dr. Tims' love affair with furry friends goes back long and deep. He lived for Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom and would drag his mom to the library after watching any animal show so he could do further ‘research' on the species. It didn't matter if it was a penguin or a lion, they all held a deep fascination for him. Even his Sunday School teacher, Veterinarian Bill Hale, inspired him to follow his passion. At 14, he had already started working with a veterinarian after school and during the summers!

Dr. Tims majored in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A & M and then went on to vet school for his DVM from A & M in 1997. He spent four years working emergency care and 7 years as a general practitioner. The things that make his day are critical care cases, dermatology, soft tissue surgeries, internal medicine, feline medicine and visiting with clients. Hobbies include fishing, exercise, playing the electric bass guitar and reading. He has 2 loving cats, Cosmo and Daphne.
